That’s Tutu is a small apparel and illustration brand from kuala lumpur. this is how it started — and why we’re doing it softly.

chapter 01
a cat nobody noticed.
Tutu is a quiet Persian cat who once sat unnoticed in a pet store while the world rushed past him. While others were chosen for being loud or playful, Tutu waited patiently — day after day, quietly — until one day he was seen by a family who understood the beauty of silence.
That meeting marked the beginning of a life built on warmth, comfort, and quiet companionship.
— waiting, softly —
— a long, supervised nap —
chapter 02
a small space for quiet things.
Today, Tutu shares gentle wisdom through cozy illustrations and simple words — reminding us that it’s okay to slow down, rest, and exist without pressure.
In a fast and often overwhelming world, Tutu hopes to create a soft space where kindness, small moments, and personal connection still matter.
chapter 03
things you can actually wear.
Over time, our drawings started to feel like little everyday objects. so we made them one. the shop is small on purpose — a handful of tees, a hoodie, a tote, a cap, and some stickers — each one hand-drawn by us and printed gently in kuala lumpur.
Through art, humour, and stillness, That’s Tutu is here to make the world feel a little lighter, one quiet moment at a time.
— the tiny & round tee —
how we do things
four quiet promises.
①
hand-drawn, always
every illustration is ours. no AI, no clip art — just a pencil, patience, and a very round cat.
②
small batches
we make a little at a time so nothing gets wasted. if it’s here, it’s usually the last of it.
③
printed in kuala lumpur
screen-printed locally by a small team, using soft-hand water-based inks that feel like cotton.
④
kind at the end
14-day returns, no awkward questions. if it doesn’t feel right, it goes back.
how a tee becomes a tee
small batch, no rushing.
01
quiet sketching
tutu gets into a pose. one of us draws it on the iPad. the other argues about which one is cuter.
02
colour tests
we swatch a handful of mauves, creams, and sages. whichever one makes the drawing feel like a warm room wins.
03
screen printing
designs are separated, screens are burned, and our print partner pulls each colour by hand in small runs.
04
handpacked
each order is folded, tagged, and wrapped in recycled tissue. a tiny thank-you card goes in every parcel.
the team
two humans and one persian cat.
the illustrations are drawn at home in kuala lumpur. the printing is done by a tiny screen-print studio a few streets away. orders are packed by hand on a very specific ceramic table.
Tutu oversees the whole operation, mostly from the windowsill.
